I’m working on my website again. The basic structure of the diary entries is not yet clear. I am practicing. For this purpose, I keep opening a new page. Now I come to May 3rd, 2008. Something extraordinary happens. I just don’t manage to open a new page, although I follow the precisely prescribed actions. It wasn’t until the following night, when I was lying awake, that it occurred to me that the “donkey” had behaved so unusually on May 3rd, 2008. I wrote at the time:

 

 

“I wake up at 4 am and realize that I was dreaming. With a little effort I get up to write the dream down. The circumstances are so special that I cannot help repeating them:

I’m sitting in the dark because the electricity is turned off on Shabbat. The tiredness pushes me back to bed. After a first minimal dream recording, I close the notebook to send my “donkey” to rest. He doesn’t obey. The control lamp does not go out. I open the lid and the dream record is immediately there again. I add a previous dream memory (1) and a more detailed description of the dream (2). Again, I want to send the “donkey” to rest. I close the lid again. He’s not going to retire. On my knees, in prayer, the thought occurs to me to write this PS.

 

 

Now finally my “donkey” obeys, or finally I obeyed. I am overwhelmed by God’s fine work on me. I learned another lesson and that on Shabbat. An exhilarating feeling accompanies me all day. The inserted dream has meanwhile become so meaningful to me that I have to forego publication at the moment. ”

Dream May 3, 2008 (4 h, in Jerusalem)

 

(1) I see a strategic arrangement on a blackboard or something similar. A number of symbols are shown in a line. The line represents the timing of the story. It is about the return of the Messiah. This is approaching the final symbol that represents great danger. He avoids danger in a huge arc and begins at the beginning of the story.

 

(2) I am in a Christian training camp similar to the Alfa Live course. It’s an exclusive company. Everyone has a hanging folder to which the others can also access. I have a hard time with another portfolio because I am not sure what to write down. I also have the impression that I am disturbing the society that is being trained. The aim is to encourage someone to invite one or the other to a meal. I instruct Hans and Ruth to invite Peter with a “bratwurst”. My wife struggles to understand the “game”. As she understands it, she shakes her head at the “crazy” idea.
