After the morning exercise, the church bells are calling for morning prayer at 6 a.m., I want to close the window and give a look outside. The sky is overcast. Only in the northeast are the clouds loosened … and the church is bathed in full sunlight from the top of the steeple to the very bottom. It fully fledged. As much as I try, I cannot discover the light source. The surrounding roofs also get some light; otherwise there is nothing to be seen of sunshine far and wide.
For me, the whole thing is a symbol of the forthcoming revival, which I have been praying for a long time and for which a prayer group has been praying for a long time.
Today, July 7, 2020, after 6:00 a.m. at the morning chime, I step out onto the balcony to look out for the moon, which was full on July 5, 2020.
It shows me his beautiful, natural picture. At the right side of the indirectly illuminated church tower the moon stands majestically in the sky, only slightly chipped on the right side – in the blue of the sky. Above it a long, slightly reddish-colored veil cloud. I expect a bright day, although the weather forecast speaks of all-day high fog.
I do not expect enlightenment for myself, but for people for whom I pray:
- For my granddaughter
- For my best friend
- For a German theologian
- For the pastor of Lindau ZH
- For the united federal assembly
- For Basudeb Sarker, the first successor from Bangladesh I had appointed myself
