Tuesday – New Jerusalem – God’s salvation

In the Reichenschwand promise of August 12, 1980, I am expressly warned that I will not stop if God wants to go on with me. After the dream that night, I could be led into it. But today’s mottos (lots) speak such a clear language that I can only go on, no matter what the cost.

The internal massa (lot) is in Isaiah 65:19. It’s about the new world:

וגלתי בירושלם וששתי בעמי ולא-ישמע בה עוד קול בכי וקול זעקה

“I (God) will rejoice in Jerusalem and rejoice in My people. And from now on there should no longer be heard in her a voice of weeping and a voice of screaming. “(Own translation)

And the daily motto (lot) of the Moravian Brethren from Isaiah 62:11:

הנה יהוה השמיע אל-קצה הארץ אמרו לבת-ציוך הנה ישעך בה הנה שכרו אתו ופעלתו לפניו

“See, JAHWEH let people hear to the end of the earth. Say to the daughter of Zion: Behold, your salvation is coming; behold, his reward is with him and what he does before him. ”

In the slogan of the Moravian Brethren, part of the text is once again left out. Wages and actions are “suppressed”. Grammatically, this part of the sentence is also not easily understandable. The second half comes literally, except for the last iota, from Isaiah 40:10. There is talk of the arm of God. With this addition, the whole thing becomes coherent. On May 4th, 2009, just before halfway through my apprenticeship, I had a special experience. I quote from the diary entry at the time:

I mention this slogan because as I was capturing and translating it, I heard a rumble of thunder. This is very special in that there is a strong desert wind blowing today (Chamsin). The Chamsin is dry and the temperatures climbed over 30 °; so no reason for a thunderstorm. For me, this rumble of thunder is “God’s voice”. In retrospect during the editing process (it is now 5 minutes before midnight), this makes me very awesome.

And here is my translation of Isaiah 40:10 from that time:

“Behold, the Lord, the Eternal, mighty He wants to come, and His arm rules for Him. See His (God’s) reward is with him (with His arm) and His (God’s) doing is with him (with His arm) ”. <Own translation; the words in round brackets come from me and are interpretation. The second part of the daily solution does not belong to this according to the solution booklet.>

At the time I had asked myself whether at best I could be that arm. Today, as the Redeemer of Israel, I am certain of it
