Shabat – 21st Sivan 5780 – My favorite two scriptures

Today I really fell in love with the following 2 Bible passages when chatting with Messenger:

Matthew 7:21 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

John 17:20-21 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

20 “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

1st: Jesus relativizes himself in this verse in favor of his father, who lives in infinite glory!

That is why the promise of Reichenschwand is so important to me, which applies to all people, regardless of religion, gender, ethnicity, language and skin color:

“If you trust in me and place your hand in mine and allow me to guide you, you will transcend the boundaries with me into a new land that you have never known and whose miracles are so great that the most beautiful thing you can imagine merely a shadow is in comparison. But make sure you do not get left behind when I want to go further with you”

2nd: John’s promise has unlimited validity for all today and future followers of Jesus Christ, be it really believing Messianic Jews or Christians. That is why credible mission is still extremely important today.

Me, as the direct successor of Jesus of Nazareth, I have noticed that Jesus has fulfilled everything with his life and sacrificial death and that I cannot add anything new to his life. With my online diary, the 3rd Testament, I therefore limit myself on testimony and pastoral care for all people who have questions.
