Two things move me because of my brother:
His birth on May 8, 1930
His death on June 7, 2010
World War II: Liberation Day on May 8, 1945.
Hopefully the last “real” world war. It has been ruling the Internet for a long time.
The Ukraine war must not degenerate into a world war. This is my request to the almighty God, YAHWEH.
Kurt’s death on June 7, 2010, reminds me of the coming Kingdom of God on June 7, 2014.
His death was the result of a bull attack on a hiking trail in a meadow with mother cow husbandry.
Fortunately, I was still able to squeeze Kurt’s hand in the hospital and look into his eyes, which signaled a huge fear. The only thing I could say was, “It’s good that we can still see each other.”
Kurt and I are great opposites:
Kurt 7 years older
He a math genius
Me a mathematics loser
He an ambitious student
I already relax in the morning lying on the sofa, listening to music. School a tiresome evil. Linguistically I am gifted.
When my brother attends the private Unterstrass teacher training college in Zurich, my parents want Kurt to give me piano lessons. That had to go wrong. Today I am still mainly a music consumer (Klassik Radio Schweiz)
Time when I met my wife, Ursula, the ambition awoke in me. Previous knowledge of recording spurred me on and I registered for an advertised recorder teacher course and passed it. Attempts to learn oboe and piano failed due to lack of talent. With Ursula, I sang for a long time in pairs, also underway in the car.
