Once more a cross laid down to the left

The trunk of the cross is “burdened” with a misshapen red stain.

Blood comes to mind. Spiritual.

In other words:
The blood (sin) of mankind weighs too heavily. The cross can no longer lift itself up.

Jesus is only in the first heaven, nowhere near the infinite glory.
